Bridgia – Terms and Conditions

1. Use of the System

By accessing and using the Bridgia system, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The system is provided to institutions, staff, and students as a platform to manage academic and administrative processes.

2. Data Integrity and Accuracy

  • Bridgia does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of data inputted, transferred, or displayed within the system.
  • Responsibility for the accuracy of all information uploaded, entered, or imported into Bridgia remains with the institution and/or the users.
  • Bridgia shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, delays, or losses arising from incorrect or incomplete data provided by users or third-party integrations.

3. System Availability

  • While Bridgia strives to ensure continuous system availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
  • Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or factors beyond our control (such as power outages, connectivity issues, or third-party service failures) may result in temporary downtime.
  • Bridgia shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by system downtime or interruptions.

4. Third-Party Integrations

  • Bridgia may integrate with third-party platforms (such as LMS, CRM, finance systems).
  • We do not control, guarantee, or accept liability for the performance, security, or availability of third-party systems.
  • Users acknowledge that any data exchange with third-party systems is at their own risk.

5. Security and Confidentiality

  • Bridgia employs industry-standard security practices.
  • However, no system is entirely immune to unauthorized access, cyberattacks, or data breaches.
  • Bridgia is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims resulting from such events, provided that reasonable security measures have been applied.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Bridgia, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, resulting from the use of the system.
  • Users and institutions acknowledge that they use the system at their own risk.

7. Indemnification

The institution agrees to indemnify and hold Bridgia harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from:

  • misuse of the system,
  • inaccurate data input, or
  • reliance on information generated by the system.

8. Amendments

Bridgia reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of material changes, and continued use of the system constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
